Family Visa Workshops

NWIRP offers Family Visa Workshops on a regular basis for those who want to know if they are qualified to petition for their immigrant family members to get legal status in the United States. The workshops cover eligibility requirements and give an orientation to the procedures to follow in order to petition for families. These workshops are held in our office and are offered the first and third Saturday of every month at 10:00 a.m.

Please make reservations to attend by calling 206-587-4009 during regular business hours. We request a $20.00 donation.

Legal Orientation Presentation

NWIRP provides information on legal rights for detained immigrants under its Legal Orientation Presentation program. All detained immigrants who will be appearing before a judge in removal proceedings will have an opportunity to first participate in the Legal Orientation Program.

If you are in removal (deportation) proceedings, you can retain a lawyer to represent you, but you will need to pay for these services. This is different from criminal proceedings, where the government will pay for a lawyer. Click for a list of local attorneys that have experience with immigration.Attorney List PDF
